The PSP homebrew community has come into trouble recently, Sony has seemed to have almost permanently closed the loop on downgrading the PSP, meaning that new models after PSP 2003 cannot be customised.
The homebrew community hasn’t been able to come up with any hacks or mods for over a year now, and it seems like it will unable to do so anytime soon.
The solution is to either find a older version PSP off of ebay or somewhere, and then get hold of a pandora battery and magic memory stick to downgrade the PSP.
Furthermore it seems that sales of the PSP have slumped significantly since Sony has locked down the doorway to homewbrew. Similar can be said with the ps3 and xbox360. Xbox360′s unit sales skyrocketed and left ps3 untit sales lagging behind considerably when it was made possible to play “backups” on the xbox.
